 JEE Advanced 2025 Counselling: JoSAA Schedule OUT

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has released the JEE Advanced 2025 counselling schedule, initiating a pivotal phase for engineering aspirants. This process, conducted online, will span six rounds from June to July 2025, covering crucial steps like registration, choice filling, seat allotment, document verification, and fee payment. JoSAA 2025 counselling facilitates admission into 23 IITs, 31 NITs, 23 IIITs, and 20 GFTIs.

🔗 JoSAA 2025 Counselling Registration Link

JoSAA counselling began June 3rd, 2025. Eligible candidates must register via the official JoSAA portal. This is mandatory to secure admission in IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs.

📄 Eligibility Criteria for JEE Advanced Counselling 2025

  • Qualified JEE Advanced 2025 with a valid rank.

  • Minimum 75% marks in Class 12 (65% for SC/ST/PwD) or top 20 percentile in board exam.

📂 Documents Required

  • JoSAA Allotment Letter

  • JEE Advanced Admit Card & Rank Card

  • 12th Marksheet & Certificate

  • Birth Certificate (or 10th Certificate)

  • Category/PwD Certificate (if applicable)

  • Seat Acceptance Fee Payment Proof

  • Valid Photo ID

  • Passport/OCI/PIO card (for foreign nationals)

  • Passport-size Photos

📅 JEE Advanced Counselling Process 2025

Step 1: Online Registration

  • Log in at josaa.nic.in

  • Provide JEE details, personal data

  • Generate credentials and submit

Step 2: Choice Filling and Locking

  • Select preferred courses and colleges

  • Prioritize selections

  • Lock choices before deadline

Step 3: Seat Allotment

  • Based on rank, preference, and availability

  • View seat allotment result online

  • Accept seat by paying the fee or opt for further rounds

Step 4: Seat Acceptance Fee Payment

  • General/OBC: Rs. 35,000

  • SC/ST/PwD: Rs. 15,000

  • Pay online within deadline

Step 5: Reporting to Allotted Institute

  • Visit institute with original documents

  • Undergo verification and complete admission

  • Choose Freeze, Float, or Slide options based on preference
